Remix Fiction is excited to announce this weekend (Sunday @11am Pacific Time) we will interview the creative team at Funnel Productions on the heels of the recent conclusion of their alternate reality game, Purity Towers. This was Funnel Production’s third full-scale independent ARG following their previous productions; Man of the People and Myth of the Seeker.
We’ll dive behind the scenes and learn what was happening on the other side of the curtain as players chose their alliances and helped co-create this complex tale of class oppression. We’ll talk to the actors who portrayed Randy, Earl, Melissa, and the rest of the characters who communicated with the audience through email, tweets, and Facebook messages.
We want the players of Purity Towers to be a big part of this special broadcast of Remix Fiction Television by helping us come up with interview questions. You can submit your questions by typing them into a comment, or you can call and leave a voicemail (206-350-1072) which we’ll play on the air. We also encourage you to video your question and upload it to a video sharing site. Just leave a link to the video in the comments and playing those videos during the show will be our top priority (there will also be a surprise for some of our video question authors)
Funnel Productions: Our mission is to create the best games around and to build a broader community of ARGamers in the process. We are a grassroots alternate reality gaming organization. We have day jobs, though one day we hope to create games full time. Our games are produced entirely out of our own pockets, but we do our very best to keep them fun, immersive, and enjoyable for the players.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8C27zdU_pks There are my questions, am really nervous about people seeing me and me sounding like a total dork.
Thanks for making a question video Ashley! It will be one of the first videos we play on the air for the Funnel crew. You can also look forward to a surprise on Sunday.
[Note: This is the full post I tried to put up on uStream. Without letting me know that there was a character limit (which I'm sure I would have gone over anyway, lol, they simply cut it off after four and a half lines - yet another issue with their site...]
Thank you, once again, Martin, for an amazing episode! You did a great job with this one – balancing a well-rounded feature of the terrific creative team that is Funnel Productions while tactfully addressing some tough controversial elements with aplomb, preparedness, and journalistic integrity. It is quite a coup that you managed to get the entire team on your show, and it is a wonderful addition to ARG history, not just this particular game! There were a few issues that I would have liked to seen delved into further, but I understand why that was not possible. Your show has the potential to be the “60 Minutes” of the ARG world!
I have been kicking myself for missing this one live – not quite sure how that happened, but I was a bit busy with preparations for Yom Kippur, so maybe that is how I completely blanked on knowing when the show was coming up. I’m not sure if you have a mailing list that alerts people to when the shows are coming up, but I will check your site and make sure I’m signed up for everything! I would most definitely have sent in (at least audio) questions, and would have loved to Twitter live during the show. It is a bit strange in this day and age when I don’t watch much, if any tv live, to get used to going back to that format. However in this case, I am happy to make an exception!
After watching your announcement at the beginning, I was disappointed that I could not find this episode archived on your site! While I like the longer, and live aspects of uStream, I have to say that I’m a bit disappointed with their sites execution. Between intrusive advertisements, and what seem to be faulty metrics (for example, I have created a uStream account, yet my rating (a 5, btw) seems to not appear under the ratings system (it still says, “Not rated yet” even though I rated it days ago!). I am also guessing that there have been far more than 40 views! It is also very difficult to find the shows (archived ones especially) that one wants. I’m not sure if there is any other site that provides this kind of service (I’m kind of hoping that Google/YouTube will buy Ustream and make it more like their sites!), but if there are any other options, I hope you can find one! One last piece of “constructive criticism”: I’m not sure what your thinking is in terms of your naming conventions for the shows. When the second (?) show was called “Episode 9″, I thought it was a joke because you were highlighting “Hallucinine”, but I just don’t get why this episode is numbered 28… I assume you have a good reason, but frankly it is very, very confusing! If there is some way to put the actual episode number in parenthesis or something – or at least post a listing of the shows in actual order on your website (with trackback urls for the archived shows), I know I for one would be grateful! I don’t want to miss any of the shows, especially ones I missed live! I would also like to congratulate you on figuring out how to make these shows seem like professional, high-production-value TV news programs (love your backgrounds, too! I’m so curious as to how you have set up a green screen!) Finally, keep them coming! Don’t be like ABC and cancel one of the most exciting new shows to come along in a long time!
I really don’t think that uStream has accurately figured out the metrics issue! (Perhaps you could do smaller – I believe they have a 10 minute limit, though I’m not sure – YouTube wrap-up edits to promote the full shows? Not sure what the fine print on that is… just a thought!)
I see now that you have added a section to this website “Remix Fiction Television”. I guess I had the site cached when I first looked for it here. Please disregard my comments about that! -osofine-
